It was Introduced to North America in the Early 1900&#8217;s for Agricultural Use and Quickly Became a Favorite in Landscaping for their Adaptability, Flowering, Fall Color, and Rounded Crown. It is Highly Disease Resistant, Tolerant of Various Soil Types, Climate Conditions, and Not a Favorite Food among Herbivorous Wildlife. All of these Reasons are Why it was Received with Admiration. It&#8217;s a Great Ornamental Plant for Any Landscape. The Flowering Pear was Planted throughout North America in Yards and Parks. Callery Pear is a Dense, Pyramidal, Ornamental, Broadleaf Deciduous Tree that Grows Up to 50 Feet Tall and 20 to 35 Feet Wide. It is a Very Common Landscape Plant, Most Notably in the Spring when the Tree is Full of White Blossoms. It is Used Frequently for it&#8217;s Rapid Growth Rate and Tolerance to a Variety of Urban Conditions, Including Drought, Air Pollution, and Heat. Zones 4-8Bradford Pear Germination:1) Soak seed in very warm water for for 24 hours to soften the seeds.
