Common names include narrow-leaf milkweed or Mexican whorled milkweed. A native in the Western United States and Baja California. Growing below 7000 feet in elevation where it grows in woodlands, deserts, and on mountains&#8217; slopes. This perennial can grow 3 feet tall and 4 feet wide once fully grown. It can be grown in most soils and will require full sun. Asclepias fascicularis&#8217; blooms can be white to pink, and some pale green in color. They are visited by bees, butterflies, and birds.\u00a0 A magnet for the Monarch Butterfly as most milkweeds are. Zones 6-10. Germination Sow seeds 1\/4&#8243; deep and lightly cover with a medium. Keep moist in a bright spot. Do not cover with plastic but maintain a temperature around 65-75F.
