A solid white bloom with splashes of blue speckles. Each bloom is unique. Sometimes you might get a little streak or one of the petals will be solid blue or purple. The leaves are variegated green in this particular cultivar. There is another strain which has solid green leaves and black seeds which naturally developed at the same time. Open-air pollination is used by virtually every gardener and can produce crossed varieties. This can be fortuitous as it provides the gardener with a brand new type of morning glory which can then be refined and sold. Think twice before removing any odd morning glories you find among your expected cultivar.
