3-5 creamy white flowers per stem. Strap-shaped green foliage; flower spike bursts forth in August. Grow in cool greenhouses, outdoors in warmer areas where little or no frost is experienced. In Zones lower than Zone 7, apply winter cover. They will arrive as 5 bulbs/seeds ready to plant, sometimes they even sprout on the way there in the dark box. These are very hardy and grow right up to the sandy beach at my place in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fl. They actually held back the dunes when even the sea grass washed away during the hurricanes! USPS Requires that all damaged pieces the box and original packing material MUST be dropped off at the post office after the claim is processed, this will give you a receipt PF form 3831, just send me a picture of that and no return shipping is needed otherwise you will need to ship it back if you are unwilling to drop it off to USPS once they send you the letter. Moreover, if you get a very damaged box or if it rattles when you shake it please refuse to accept it and return to sender immediately. The post office needs to be held accountable for miss handling any brakeage especially when they charge us so much to ship.
