Rudbeckia hirta Sahara daisies come in vibrant colors like brown, red, gold, and tan shades with some semi-double to double flowers. These beauties love moist, fertile well-drained soil, and they bloom best with ample moisture.Keep in mind that the colors and double flowerings may vary within each variety. Rudbeckia isn't the most genetically stable, so we can't guarantee the bloom colors. But if you plant several, you may increase the chances to enjoy a mix of colors! These gorgeous flowers bloom from mid-summer to fall and are perfect for cut-flower arrangements. Additionally, they attract pollinators and goldfinches love their seeds. Rudbeckias are ideal for planting in meadows, along roadsides, or in garden beds, making them one of the most versatile and recognizable perennials available.Rudbeckia is a true perennial that generally flowers in its first year but may take an additional season to produce marketable stems. It requires long days to flower. When planted in short days, it will initially grow roots and leaves, and then bloom as the days become longer. The best stem length will be achieved from plants that are established under short days and then allowed to flower as summer progresses. Important notice:Please understand that these are living plants. We try our very best to pack and ship out a healthy plant as soon as we receive your order. Depending on the transportation time and care during transportation, the plants may have some brown leaves or even experience over-temperature. This is common, especially with all shipments during summertime. Some plants can go into shock during shipping or changed growing conditions. Most plants will bounce back when watered and placed in partial shade for a few days. We also include further instructions that are specific to your plant, so please read them completely when you open your package. We've tried our best to give the best care possible prior to shipment. Please open and care for your plant as soon as you receive it, remembering that plants are living creatures. Avoid leaving in hot sunlight or a hot automobile, just as you would any other pet. The plant you will receive may be slightly different from the photos in the listing since no two plants are the same. Please notify us with photos of the package and plants right away ( within 24 hours) if you received a plant that is damaged more than the normal stress of shipping, as stated above. Thank you for your order and we look forward to serving you again. Happy gardening, happy life! :)) Carolina Lavender Farm
