Trical 342 Triticale Seed Triticale is a highly-versatile hybrid forage for grazing, silage, bailage, and boot-stage hay. Triticale is a cross between Wheat and Rye. Triticale is excellent forage for dairy cows at the boot stage and for beef cows and dairy heifers at the soft dough stage. High protein, digestibility, and significantly higher yields than other boot stage cereal grains. Recommended planting time is spring and fall when night time temperatures are consistently below 65 degrees.
