The fruits are large, soft with very good taste. It is a very rear variety in southern California. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++Guava, known as Psidium guajava, is one of the common tropical fruits cultivated and many tropical and subtropical regions. Guava has a generally broad, low-calorie profile. It contains about four times the amount of vitamin C as orange. The health benefits of guava include the treatment of diarrhea, dysentery, constipation, cough, skincare, high blood pressure, weight loss and scurvy.These seeds just from the new apple guava fruits from the trees grown in the southern California garden. This spicy is with very good taste like pear. When grown from seeds, it will bloom and bear fruits in two years. Guava grows well in full sun but partial shade is beneficial. Moist is helpful for guava to grow. The guava tree will grow as tall as 8’ and about 8’ wide. It can be also planted in pots. Flowers bloom in late spring with white flowers. It is self-pollinate and fruit develops in a few months. It may be multiple fruiting and flowering seasons throughout the year, depending on local climate conditions.
