Short, highly productive vines produce round, light-green fruits with dark-green stripes that grow to between 5 to 8 pounds in weight. Flesh is pale-yellow, crisp, and wonderfully sweet. One of the earliest producing watermelons, and an excellent choice for cooler regions with a shorter growing season. To start indoors, sow seeds 1/4 inch deep in small, individual pots.
