🐝🌻20 GIANT Mammoth Grey Striped Sunflower Seeds.🐝🌻 The giant of all sunflowers! The Mammoth Grey Striped Sunflower is a tall plant with massive blooms that are easy to grow and can thrive in poor soil with little moisture. This sunflower, (Helianthus annus) is the giant of all sunflowers, reaching 12’ tall sometimes! Thick stalks support the huge heads which can grow as large as 15' in diameter, that tower above the garden. This single-stem variety is a very fast and vigorous grower. A great variety for edible seeds or feeding the birds. 🌻Can be sown indoors 2-3 weeks before planting outdoors. Transplant when there are 4 leaves. 🌻Expect germination in 5-10 days 🌻They are best sown outdoors after last frost, but remember animals WILL eat the seeds if they can get to them 🌻When sowing seed outdoors, we recommend a planting depth of 1 inch 🌻Spacing: Plant 12 to 24 inches apart in full sun ( the bigger the space, the bigger the seed head will be). 🌻Soil: Very tolerant of drought and poor soils but does best in well fertilized soils🌻American grown seeds🌻Deer resistant 🌻Annual 🌻USDA Zones 1-12 🌻Days to maturity: 110 days ALL of our seeds are grown, loved, harvested and inspected directly by hand on our land here in the mitten state, Michigan.
