This listing is for a package of 75+ Crackerjack Marigold Mix seeds. AKA African Marigold. AKA Tagetes erecta. Half-hardy annual. Full sun preferred. These lovely plants are staples for cut flower beds as well as interspersed in veggie gardens as they deter pests naturally. They also attract a multitude of beneficial insects. This Crackerjack Marigold mix includes three colors: -Hawaii a bright deep orange -Smiles a rich golden rod -Mary Helen a true lemon yellow These tall plants produce huge double blooms that can be used as cut flowers. Abundant cut and come again blooms and foliage can both be used in floral design and bouquets. To grow sow seed directly after last frost date for your region. Cover lightly with soil no more 1/8". Some exposure can help aid in germination but covering slightly with soil helps hold seed in place during watering. Keep moist until germination occurs. Can be started ahead in pots or trays for a jump start on the season. Always harden off new plants over a few days to acclimate them before permanently transplanting outdoors.
