It can also be found in Texas, where it grows in meadows, swamps, and damp shores. It can grow to 3 feet tall and a foot and a half wide. This one will require a well-drained, rich soil kept moist for best results. It likes full sun to part shade and will benefit from any wind protection. Zones 3-9 Germination Mix seeds and soil together in a ziplock bag. Write the name of the seed on the bag. Place in the refrigerator for 60 days. Seed should be sown into well-drained, sandy compost and covered to their own depth with sand or grit. Place the seed tray in filtered light and keep moist.
