A native to Eastern North America in the swamps and in the more adequate moisture areas. It can grow to 6 feet tall and wide and will prefer wet soil but not standing water. It also likes in the soil plenty of acid. It grows best in full sun to part shade. Zones 3-9 Germination Mix seeds and soil together in a ziplock bag. Write the name of the seed on the bag. Place in the refrigerator for 60 days. Seed should be sown into well-drained, sandy compost and covered to their own depth with sand or grit. Place the seed tray in filtered light and keep moist.
