Black Eyed Susan Rudbeckia fulgida ‘Goldstrum’ Up for bid are seeds of this extremely popular perennial. The Goldstrum variety of this wonderful perennial grows to about 2 feet tall, and covers itself with yellow daisy type flowers from summer through fall. Mine started blooming in June, and they bloom into November most years here in central Pennsylvania. They also spread to make larger clumps each year, and they seed themselves into the garden as well. Black Eyed Susans are also very winter hardy, to USDA zone 4 at least. The seeds of the variety Goldstrum come up true to type, and all seedlings are like the parents, so you will get as many new plants of this variety as you desire.
